Foster Parent Comments

Check out What the Foster Parents have said

As a foster parent, I was extremely overwhelmed by the love and care all the staff provided to our foster daughter.  She still hasn't stopped telling people about camp!  She felt totally accepted and comfortable with all you offered.
I still don't know how you were able to pull off all the activities and experiences the children took part in. Even almost a month later she still comes up with something new that happened at camp.  On our ride home she asked if she could go again next year.
My foster children enjoyed the week of camp, well I should say, loved it!  They said they had so much fun. They were scared at first, but when they came home they were so happy they went...I just want to commend all the volunteers and everyone that helps to make this possible...Thanks, so much for letting my children be a part of something so great.  This was an experience they will never forget.
My foster child couldn't sleep in his own room for the five months that he's been in my home.  He would only sleep in my room on a mattress next to my bed.  The first night after returning home, he slept in his room for the first time.  Yippee!  And he has been sleeping there ever since.
The whole experience is fabulous.  It brings out happiness, hope and enjoyment.  The anticipation every year helps my camper be able to deal with problems throughout the year.  It gives him something to look forward to.  He loves it!  He likes that it is a week long and that he can be who he is and just enjoy life. Thank you to all!
CFL is fantastic!  Before camp time even arrived, I was told stories and treated to songs from past camp trips.  Since camp, I have heard every camp song.  The CD the kids were given is great.  It goes to bed, for walks and in the car.  The mud walk seems to be a big hit!  It amazed me how much the kids did in five days and brought home a photo album of memories, too.  It is obvious that a lot of love and care went into planning this camp.  The kids will remember the fun they had for years to come.  Please keep this camp going!
